INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER OF KANSASCITY – MIKE BICKLE ALLSTAFF MEETING(AUGUST 2013)
Remembering Our Calling: 21-Day Daniel Fast (Aug. 5–26, 2013I. INTRODUCTION
  1. The Lord’s invitation in Cairo, Egypt, September 1982:
I will change the understanding and expression of Christianity in the earth in one generation.
The Lord said to me, “I am inviting you to be a part of a work that will touch the ends of the earth. You have only said yes, but have not yet done it. Many have said yes, but did not do it (persevere for decades).” The Lord said, “Beware lest your brethren steal these from your heart.”
  2. Bob Jones’ encounter with Jesus on August 8, 1975:
The Lord said, “I will anoint some young people in KC. I want you to go back to touch some of the first leaders. There is coming a third world war. I will bring over a billion souls to Myself...”

    1. The Lord said, “Many of My servants have sold out My glory for sin. The time is drawing close. I will raise up a people who will be faithful to Me.” An angel said, “Look!” So, I looked to downtown KC and saw an explosion of God’s light and glory in the inner city. It was like crystal light traveling at the speed of light to the nations.
    2. God will send finances to Kansas City far beyond anything we may now understand. Kansas City will become a world center to export the natural and the spiritual bread.
  3. In 1983, five prophetic signs in the heavens were given in advance:unusual snow (March 21), comet (May 7), a flood (Mississippi, May 23), drought (Jul. 1–Oct. 1) and rain (Aug 23).
17Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams... 19I will show wonders in heaven [sky]...and signs in the earth... (Acts 2:17–19)
  4. On April 13, 1983, Gabriel told Bob, “Give the young man Daniel 9 and he will understand.”I thought that this only meant that I should call a 21-day fast (May 7-28, 1983), but 30 years later, I see this as an invitation to our spiritual family to seek His grace to grow in understanding of Daniel’s end-time message—thus an indication that this movement has a forerunner mandate.
  5. On July 3, 1984, Bob Jones saw the Lord being exalted and carried by a group of young leaders like the ark of the covenant was carried in David’s day (2 Sam. 6). They were leading a parade of people who had been physically healed. They started at Blue Ridge and Grandview Road and ended at Arrowhead Stadium. Bob was wearing a hospital gown and his feet were crippled.
  6. The Lord said, “Pray Psalm 12:1 crying, ‘Help, Lord, for the godly man perishes’ or ‘Help, Lord, we don't have any champions who will lift only You up.’” The Lord said, “I will answer that prayer—pray that your faith fails not.” Many have brought shame to the Lord by selling out to immorality, gold, or fame. He is raising up young people who will not sell out. They will serve Him all the days of their lives and be faithful to the end.
1Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases! The faithful disappear from among the sons of men. (Ps. 12:1)

G. The attack on the biblical view of the sanctity of life, marriage and sex is accelerating quickly. Pedophiles now are crying out for freedom to express the sexual orientation they were born with.
1The Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2speaking lies[about the Scripture] in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,3forbidding to marry... (1 Tim. 4:1–3)
3Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day [Jesus’ second coming]will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin[Antichrist] is revealed... (2 Thes. 2:3)
  1. 21-DAY DANIEL FAST
    1. Our leadership team invites you to join us for a 21-day Daniel Fast (August 5-26).
    2. We call you to make three additional commitments:
      1. To be in the prayer room 6 hours a day(for full-time IHOPKC staff).
      2. To read the book of Daniel each day for 21 days (this will take about one hour). 3. To fast media entertainment and only use the Internet for work-related purposes

and to only engage in entertainment that is overtly biblical (Bible stories, the life of Jesus, etc.).
  2. THE PURPOSES OF THIS FAST
    1. To personally encounter the Lord—encounter His love and renounce all compromise.
    2. To pray for a breakthrough— for our families, churches, and nation.
    3. To pray for a breakthrough for Jerusalem—Daniel prayed much for Jerusalem. The battle for Jerusalem is a spiritual, political, and military battle for the control of Jerusalem. This significant battlefront culminates in Jesus’ return and Satan being cast into prison (Rev. 19:11-20:3). Jesus requires the Church to stand with Israel in their coming persecution (Rev.12:17; Dan. 11:33-35).
    4. Seeking greater understanding—of God’s heart and end-time plan.
12“You [Daniel] set your heart to understand...14I[an angel] have come to make you

understand what will happen to your people in the latter days...” (Dan.10:12-14)
      1. Part of the mandate of IHOPKC is to function in a forerunner spirit, which includes proclaiming the biblical end-time message. There will be unique dynamics in the generation in which the Lord returns— both positive and negative elements. The Lord is raising up forerunners who will give understanding to equip God’s people to not be fearful, deceived, confused, offended, or seduced by sin occurring in that hour.
      2. There are over 150 chapters in the Bible that focus on the end-times. The four gospels together have 89 chapters. The gospels give us a record of Jesus' ministry related to His first coming when He redeemed us from our sins. The 150 chapters on the end times reveal His ministry related to His second coming when He will rule all the nations. Many of God's people neglect these 150 chapters without considering they come from the same Bible, reveal the same Jesus, and manifest the same power of the Spirit as in the gospels.
