The coming Tetrad of Lunar Eclipses (known as blood moons)

This article concerns a topic first espoused by a Christian Hebrew Gentleman by the name of Mark Blitz. He ties the coming tetrad of lunar eclipses to the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at the 2nd Advent. This coming tetrad occurs in the Gregorian calendar years 2014 through 2015. As a result of this, many thought the rapture could occur in 2008. They subtracted 7 years from 2015 when the end of the tetrad occurred. Great significance of this tetrad was given because it aligned with the Jewish Feast days. I still believe that this tetrad needs to be studied further. The matching of the Jewish holidays and the patterns to be shown below are so well aligned that it can not be and should not be ignored.

Tetrad

When four consecutive lunar eclipses are all total eclipses, the group is known as a tetrad.

Saros Cycle

The Saros Cycle is an eclipse cycle with a period of about 18 years 11 days 8 hours (approximately 65851/3 days) that can be used to predict eclipses of the Sun and Moon. One cycle after and eclipse, the Sun, Earth, and Moon return to approximately the same relative geometry, and a nearly identical eclipse will occur west of the original location.

Nissan

The first month of the Jewish Religious Year which occurs in the spring time. Passover Occurs on the 15th day of this month.

Passover

The Hebrew feast day commemorating the Lamb Sacrifice in Exodus where the Angel of Death passed over Israel while the firstborn in Egypt were slain. It also is the same day the Lord Jesus Christ, our lamb sacrifice for sins, was crucified.

Tishri

Tishri is the seventh month of the religious year for Israel and the first month of the civil year for Israel. This month holds the feasts of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Tabernacles (also known as Sukkoth).

Rosh Hashanah

This is a two day feast occurring on Tishri 1 and Tishri 2 of the Hebrew calendar. This is also called the feast of trumpets. A lot of people believe this feast day is tied to the rapture of the Christian Church prior to the start of the tribulation.)

Yom Kippur

This is known as the day of atonement. It is considered to be one of the most important of Jewish Holidays of the year. It is a day set aside to atone for the sins of the past year. It occurs on the 10th day of Tishri. It is found in Leviticus 23:26-32.

Sukkoth (Tabernacles)

The feast of Sukkoth begins on Tishri 15, the fifth day of Yom Kippur. It is a joyous feast day while Yom Kippur is one of the most solemn of feast days. Sukkoth is a feast day with a festival atmosphere. It marks a season of rejoicing. Sukkoth means booths and refers to temporary dwelling places the Jews gather into during this holiday. Most Christian Scholars believe the feast of Sukkoth is the feast for the 2nd Advent of the Lord Jesus Christ when he returns with his saints on white horses at Armageddon.

Av

Av is the fifth month of the Hebrew Calendar. It is a time of mourning for the Jews. There are two festivals that are in Av. On the 9th and on the 15th. On the 9th of Av is Tisha B'av which is a sad day when Jews fast. It recalls the two temples being destroyed and commemorates other tragic events throughout Jewish History. The other festival which happens in Av is Tu B'av. This is a happy occasion in which couples traditionally get together to arrange their wedding.

The coming blood moons of 2014 through 2015.

This is the only tetrad in the near future that aligns itself with the Jewish holidays. One should make mention here that there are tetrads occurring as well. One tetrad occurred in 2003 - 2004. Future ones other than the 2014 - 2015 are found in 2032-2033, 2043-2044, 2050-2051, 2061-2062, 2072-2073, and 2090-2091. The difference between these tetrads and the 2014 - 2015 tetrad is that this tetrad aligns with the Jewish holidays and the others do not.

The Tetrad of 1949 through 1950 Tied to the rebirth of the nation of Israel. Declared May 14, 1948.

It should be noted here that even though Israel declared themselves a nation in 1948, The first permanent government takes office on Jan 25, 1949. Israel had a transitional government in 1948. In this way the tetrad can tie to the year 1949 for the first elected office of that year and the birth year still be 1948.

We have a solar eclipse that occurs on the 1st of Av three years in a row.

The banking community started to go into collapse in the United States in August 2008. This has led to the almost total collapse of the world banking system. This event alone will set up the stage for a one world monitory system just in time for the soon arrival of the Antichrist. Note also that the Saros Cycles for the 3 AV eclipses increment by tenwhich is the number of the Gentiles. I do not believe this means we are in the tribulation. I do believe we will see things occur in succession throughout the Gentile world that will make way for the soon arrival of the Antichrist.
Also the Rosh Hashanah 2008 which on September 29, 2008 by coincidence again fell 777points. Another end time number.

Putting everything into perspective.

The above does not mean that the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at Tabernacles has to occur on Tabernacles 2015. We already know that if you have a seven year tribulation the return year of 2015 is too soon. What the above taken as a whole does show a pattern. The first tetrad of 1493 is tied to the Spanish Government expelling the Jews. The second tetrad is the nation Israel being reborn. The third tetrad is the recapture of Jerusalem. The fourth will be tied to some major event dealing with Israel. One could speculate that the next major thing to take place for Israel is the restart of the daily sacrifices and the rebuilding of the temple. If that is the case one could see the following table.

First Tetrad of 1493-1494	Jewish Dispersion	The Jews being scattered.

Third Tetrad of 1967-1968	6th Day War	Israel gaining control of Jerusalem
Fourth Tetrad of 2014-2015	Major event dealing with Israel	Could be tied to the start of the building of the temple
		Could be tied to the start of the tribulation
		Could be tied to a major war in the Middle East dealing with Israel
		No one will know for sure till it happens.

The problem with putting events together to point to the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ does not necessarily make it so.
One can look at the pattern above and with the use of Scripture to see what is in the near future we know the following.
A seven year tribulation period is about to occur.
A Pre-tribulation Rapture is close at hand.
The world is going through an economic upheaval which will make things ready for the Antichrist.
Israel became a nation in 1948 and going with the maximum 70 year generation we get 2018 when everything should come to pass.   That makes the year 2011 as a good year for the rapture, and only that is speculation for we can not determine the years exactly for the phrase "this generation shall not pass away" found in the scriptures dealing with end times.
(Luke 21:32) Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
We know that the rapture is soon.
I believe that the tetrad of 2014 through 2015 will have something to do with Israel for the start, or middle of the tribulation period. The Jews require a sign.   If it does line up with Israel fleeing into the wilderness, Israel will see the eclipses occurring on their feast days to show them that the time for their redemption is near.

One last note:

You have the 777 mentioned dealing with the banking system on Rosh Hashanah 2008. You may be asking where is the 666 in the equation? So glad you asked.
Notice that the Saros Cycle for the 2014-2015 Tetrad is changed from the Saros Cycle found in the tetrad for 1949 and for 1967. If we add up the Saros cycle for 2014-2015 we get the following. 122 + 127 + 132 + 137 = 518. We know that the world worships the sun. If we were to take the first Solar eclipse 2014 we get the solar eclipse of Apr 29 2014. It has a saros cycle of 148. If you were to add that to 518 you get 666. That only occurs because of the change in Saros cycle from the previous tetrads. It really does not mean anything literally; but, it is just another one of those coincidences in this Tetrad pattern. It does not take a rocket scientist to see the patterns pointing to the soon coming of the Rapture. The soon coming of the Antichrist. The soon coming of the Tribulation Period. Followed by the soon coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at the second advent.

In Conclusion

As just noted, the rapture and the tribulation are coming soon. Even if we leave the Tetrads alone we know that a generation is at most 70 years. We need to be looking up. The Tetrads will be a sign for Israel more than likely in the tribulation period. They will have Moses And Elijah to tell that them what it means.
I am not setting a date for the rapture based on this article. I do believe that when you see lightning or hear thunder you know the storm is approaching. The way these feasts and eclipses line up shows us that the time of the end is definitely near. It is time to get off your comfortable chairs and get busy for the Lord Jesus Christ.
